Dedicated

That's our Mr. Moses! He's all dedicated and such.
We made the trek to Boyne the other weekend to witness and celebrate with the Marv and Linds their dedication of Moses.

Marv and Linds wrote a little something and then read it

Sealed the deal with a pastoral kiss

He wore his daddy's outfit for the occasion

All smiles with Grammy and Granpy

Dedicated to teaching him to love the Lord and serve him faithfully
Dedicated to raising him in the church and with Christian principles.
Dedicated to being held accountable by family and their community of believers.

I'm sorry, but it's the best

St. Al's.  It's the Walleye.  What can I say?
I'm still willing to keep trying, but so far...St. Al's in a landslide.
To celebrate Marta's 10th, (I know, pick your chins up now) birthday, we all got together and ordered in some fish.  The breading does get a little soft, but not terrible, and the recommendation is to get baked potatoes, not fries.  And my word! does it beat standing in line!

The Catholic PTO serving it up?

Smile if you like fish!

He liked fish fry #2 better too

Jennifer and Momifer

What could be better than something in an American Girl box?!

We're finished with fish for now - see you next year

V is for Family

On either side, my family name starts with V.
We celebrated Moses again, (there's so much to celebrate!) over the weekend with my mom's side of the family.  There were lots of girls to coo and lots of little boys to meet and grow up with in years to come!  Four of the last five babies have been boys!  oh boy!

Car seat parking only!

The food and the decor - Aunt Jean does such lovely work!

 Gifts and aunties

 My lovely cousin and me

Moses, and we, are so blessed.

Here fishy fishy

Catching Cod is easy peasy on any Friday during lent at your local Catholic church!  We visited St John Vianney on the south side of town.  Very long line, but worth the wait.  I really liked the fries and cole slaw.  The fish was good too.  Cod.

Yum! Just stick with the fried, that's my advice.

His first fish fry!

We're on the move again this Friday.  Watch out for us at St Al's! Walleye!

2 for 5: I need glasses!

That's how I did on my first round, and didnt improve from there.  Which is why I made an eye appointment today!  Mr. Sweet took me shooting the other day.  I got to shoot a little this summer and kinda liked it, so we've been meaning to go again.

I'm a terrible shot!

Bad guys beware, he means biz-nass!

We just so happened to help out with youth group that same weekend, and lo and behold we had nerf wars!  More shooting!!  So fun! We had a great time!

Speaking of meaning biz-nass...

Such fun!  I had no idea Nerf guns were so popular, I'm so behind on my trends!

No chest Hair...

...but a DARLING 'I Love Auntie' emblem! :)

We spent last weekend in the Great White North, or the Vast Undeveloped Wilderness, whichever you prefer.  It was a lot of fun playing Rook, watching movies, exploring the outdoors and enjoying baby Moses.

Moses had the corner on darling head apparel for the weekend, here he can be seen being a penguin and a brown bear!  Sweet liked holding his hand during car rides.

Snowshoeing was really fun! Dont you love the little brown bear growing out of Marv's coat?

Such a gentleman, he changed to his Polar Bear suit for delicious dinner at Sante!

Sweets said this was one of his favorite parts of the weekend, holding Moses :)

We were so glad to visit, cant wait to do it again soon!
