I stopped over to drop off a card on the way home, and got invited to dinner too, who's going to say no to that?! I kept teasing that he was getting an iPad, gets the wheels of thought turning for everyone! :)
So my friends and family can be up on life here in GR

Girls do Indy!
My girlfriends and I spent the other weekend in Indianapolis! We had such a fun time keeping the secret from Al, planning and plotting, seeing her overjoyed face, hugging on her kids, whisking her off the the JW downtown, having breakfast, poking around town, reliving the 'glory days', paddleboating, biking in a surry style bike, getting all dressed up to shop, eating Chick-fil-a, instagramming, visiting floor 31, shopping and basically talking non-stop!
Here's the evidence to prove it all!

Come on Over!
Lately that's been the name of the game! A lot of hanging out here and there.
This was a lovely summer Saturday night dinner shared with friends, and followed by GAMES! :)
Mother's Day was at my house this year - so fun to host!

The Spice of Life
I've been spending a lot of time with a lot of people lately. If you ask me, people are the spice of life. I heard recently a good reminder: celebrate the sameness as well as the differences we have because it creates a strong and beautifully woven tapestry.
My bogo :)
My Melis was back in the states and made a point to stop for a visit. Worked out that she got to spend the night too! Such a wonderful time to be able to catch up again - everyone needs a Melis.
Dinner at Jimmy B's
Allyson and Josh came back to GR for Mother's Day weekend so we all were able to spend time together. What a sweet time to be back together, ironically in the same place we were all last together!
The whole motley crew!

Run Run Rudolph!
Run! That's what I've been doing since February, faithfully. I had totally fallen off the bandwagon until then, so my goal was the Riverbank Run.
6.2 miles on May 11, 2013.
No times, no keeping up, just running, finishing and feeling good.
Goal Met!
This is the 7th time Kari and I have run this thing 'together', she's exceedingly faster than me, but is kind enough to wait at the end! :)
Breakfast of McDonald's champions after! Thanks Dougie!
AND this year, all of GR had the opportunity to watch me finish! ha! Thanks Martins for videoing your TV for me! The funny thing was, if you were watching it live, you would have seen my boss finish just a few steps behind me! He was given a hard time at work about it!
Another year in the books! this time, maybe I wont fall so far off the bandwagon!

Good Things Lately
Here's a hodge podge of a few of the good things I've enjoyed in life lately. I think so much enjoyment in life really comes from taking in the daily little things and enjoying them.
I think they call that contentment.
Senor Sweet got a new bike. Sometimes I sit around just day dreaming of all the fun adventures we're going to have on them! (Senor Sweet himself is another good thing, I just dont have a recent photo...oops.)
I moved desk locations at work. Mostly because I'm transitioning into new tasks and opportunities as of late, which is so exciting!
Mmm Southwestern Eggrolls. So good, and working with eggroll wrappers was easy! Cooking breakthrough!
Being outside more has been SO nice! including: walking and Whippy Dip! We now have a walking ice cream location and a biking location :) This is the walking one, and that's a small...WHAT? Gonna have to take 2 laps I think!
Greenhouse! I saw this at the store, walked away, talked about it all weekend, went back and bought it. I just love it! This is another thing I sit around and daydream how I'll use it and what I'll put in it! Christmas? Get outta town!
I just cant help but smile. My church family is a precious gift to me, and I am so thankful for my church. :)
Non-pictured good things are as follows: patio furniture, fountain, and flowers can all be seen at work, skirts without tights are stepping out from Kelsey, the River Bank Run is coming and I'm feeling ready, summer trips are in the works, and Magic Moses has been snuggled in the last week.
So much wonderful!
So much wonderful!
