1, 2, & 3 of The BE

While a lot of my peers are joining gyms, drinking protein shakes and honing their beach bodies 

(all noble things I should probably consider as the next project) 

I made a list of 15 bakeries that Heather and I plan to visit. 

Mmmmmm bakeries :)

First: The Donut Conspiracy on St. Patrick's Day
Consumed: A Lucky Charms topped cake donut with green frosting

Second: The Cakabakery (no sign photo bc it was being installed!)
Consumed: Chocolate Chunk cookie I had been thinking about for about 6 weeks

Third: Van's Pastry (the most Classic of all classics, Hymn Sing on Monday mornings! 9 am!)
Consumed: M&M Cookie and Chocolate Cream Puff at home in the evening

Baby M LOVES this project, probably more than she'd like sit ups, so, it's for the baby :)

Baby's First Birthday

I can't believe it. How has a year already zipped right by?!

Everyone says 2 things: 

1. It goes so fast

2. They change so much

And to everyone I say: 

Correct.

So we celebrated and remembered and gave thanks for a wonderful first year!

One is FUN!

For her actual day, Peter spent the day with us and we went to the Public Museum. She loved looking at all the animal exhibits, riding the carousel, and riding Sandy for the first time!

Monkeying around the house, pulling things out of Peter's drawers

Right at 5pm it just so happened that we were all playing together, so sweet.

And, as if planned, she finally popped her first tooth on her birthday!

Handsome Pete is so susceptible to marketing ploys, perhaps that's how we really connected? I lured him in with my marketing skillz? Maybe. 

Anyway, if it's new and in a commercial he's just gotta at least try it.

Turns out a few of our friends really felt like they should give it a go too, so off we went. Talk about a wild and crazy Friday night! :)

The consensus was that it's a one time try. A bit too Grand for a regular order.

It also was Ms. M's first try at Fat Donald's. Loved it. :)

Miss M and I headed into the East to pay a call to her cousins -

Off we go!!! Leaving on a jet plane!
