Anticipation is an amazing thing. All month we looked forward to our trip to Canada for Thanksgiving weekend and it just made the month zip right by!
Gaaaaaaaabe!! Charming the
ladies! :)
Living their best lives:
catalog shopping and watching
Michigan football!
She can and does
fully dress herself now. Socks and Tevas. I feel like there's a joke to be made about a two year old dressing this way and it being a current fashion trend...
Baby visits!! During the time I carried Gabe there were 15 other people I knew who were also expecting. The last two were born just a day apart (three doors down in the hospital!) right here in GR. I'm happy to report all 15 babies arrived healthy and safe. This included 3 different countries, their own timing and stories, first, last and somewhere in the middle babies but all
true gifts from God.
So much
goofing around! She's certainly turning into her own person, it's fun to see!
Oh man! What a
dude! He's also really coming into his own and we're so thrilled!
On a whim I called my trusty-up-for-anything neighbor and suggested that we participate in this year's
turkey drop for Mel Trotter, off we went! It was a lot of fun and a good teaching opportunity too. She was slightly disappointed that helping to 'feed people' just meant dropping our frozen turkeys off and not out of her hand like the goats at the petting zoo. 😆😆
Sissypoodle and brodder!
Handler time out! The last of my
flowers from the garden and a delightful loaf of
bread - ahh fall!
Dad of the year! Changing diapers, reading books, captivating hearts! and catching
deer!
This was
packing for our trip. It's astounding that we made it...
The day we left Gabe turned 4 months! Like I said, what a guy! he's doing so well and is such a
sweetie. He has fit in so nicely, life without him seems like a distant memory.
This kid knocked it out on our drive to
Canada! Reading, singing, snacking and sleeping!
Cousin
swap! Who wants to hold their own baby when there's a new one around!
Auntie time, my first loves 😍
The mighty
Niagara Falls!
Bundled up
cousins
Everyone all in a row!
Happy
Thanksgiving day!!! Dad and Grandpa arrived yipeeeeee!!!!
Ferris Wheel!
There's a street that's basically a kid's Vegas - they were in hog heaven! Give me all the
gimmicks!!!
The world's
fattest man! 1400 lbs!
In the afternoon a few of us had a chance to go without so many kiddos. It was just
lovely :)
This is what an afternoon of
arcades does to a guy!
Where's the turkey?!
The aftermath...
Friday we crossed back into the
states and saw things from the other side. Overnight it had rained a bit and the ice was something to behold!
And that's a wrap! So tired!
Meanwhile back at home it was right back to
loving her brother and playing, playing, playing!
Christmas is in full swing! The
train is up and Santa's
sleigh has been spotted!
Dad's annual
Christmas tower of
candy power arrived and new holiday themed games
Snow day
shenanigans!
Our last act in November was getting our
tree - SOOOO excited!
December promises to be busy and fun too - we're ready for it!
