We really tried to prime the
Santa Pump this year...
However, it was year #2 of me being included. '
I got a little nervous' is how she describes it :)
When Barbara Bush died I said HW wouldnt live through the year, he just couldnt, not without her. He and Babs were hilarious; people who loved life and each other. He was the first president I have memory of and associate him most closely with Presidents of my childhood. So, we all mourned
George HW Bush.
Just when I start to get all
misty eyed about her growing up, I get her
from her nap, in her
crib, wrapped in a
hospital receiving blanket. Bare, because she can dress, (and undress) herself. Yay!
This
girl! Chelsea has meant so much to me over this season in a variety of ways. Her kind and gentle spirit is a delight to all who know her! While babysitting, she took the darling photo of my babes reading Christmas books under the Christmas tree :)
Work
FRANDS! Every year I get to remember that I used to work with wonderful people with our annual day out before the Annual Meeting.
Rodney and Audra are wonderful examples to me of
fun and
kindness! And they (she) looooooves babies!
A trip downtown to see the
lights! We saw the outdoor tree too, but it was way too cold for getting babies out for a photo!
A photo fit for a
Christmas card ;)
The
snuggles around here really upped their game this month - wahoooooo!
Christmas prep!!
Christmas kitty. This is definitely her most wonderful time of the year.
Gabe. Gabe the Babe! He's just such a
wonderful dude, and we're so thankful to have him!
We spent a fun morning with friends, doing all sorts of fun Christmasy things like
decorate cookies! Color! and Play!
Cocoa! Someone's in love :)
The general busyness of the season afforded us several fun family dinner outings -
spinning stools and
Sonic are so magical to a two year old!
Handler time out! He
loves me!
Heather came home! Yay! and she convinced Molly that her new shoes were acceptable. Yay!
Running here and there! It's amazing what you can do and SEE! haha! I tried to let this lady know, but she had moved on, it provided some much needed
comic relief on a busy day :)
Christmas cookies! Molly had fun making them and I leveled up another slot in learning patience! They were delicious and a delight to the neighbors we brought them too; the lessons of Christmas are endless!
Despite our warnings and threats, Gabe went ahead and turned
5 months and has spent a good portion of his sixth month in that saucer, loves it!
And now, for the
big weekend! We started with Taylor family Christmas
Which completely wore this guy out and he had to stay up SUPER late and
snuggle
Christmas Eve was spent with our Up North cousins
#Wrappinggoalz
Handler time out! Ladies, marry a man with Kitchen skillz :)
Before the unwrapping!
Look what
Santa brought us!!
Every year the
card Jenga gets trickier but I'm up for the task! I love looking at them all and keep them from year to year!
She's so conscientious of feeding everyone and everything around her. I could have snapped any number of photos of her feeding her babies too.
Doesnt everyone have
magical horses to feed at church?
We cheered valiantly for both schools in this state...boo.
Our NYE's
spread!
And my
prize winning pie!
Our friends and entertainers :)

Happy New Year to all!!! We're looking forward to a fun filled 2019!
