When I looked at my calendar at the end of December, I had SO many appointments in January; upon further review they were mostly birthdays, a weekend away, celebrations, and the restart of our favorite activities!
We rang in the new year and decade by checking on Lake Michigan, it was still there. Roaring like a lion! We enjoyed a beautiful Narnian walk through the dunes.
Next we headed north to visit family, see their new house and celebrate Christmas!
Walk to the library
Santa came!!
Snuggles
Time with grandma, the best gift of all :)
Girl cousins unite!
Peter and I even got to sneak out for our anniversary!
Church, lunch, and a zonked out trip home!
Kitten visit, baby snuggle and reading with friends = a fun Monday!
Taking in some Halee hoops with Aunt Sheri
Doughnuts and Gardens on a Friday morning, Happy Birthday Courtney (not pictured) (of course 😏)
Snow days!!!
And with friends! even better!
Snow nights. Hair and popcorn!
Handler time out: reworking the ol' standbys. Red beans and rice never looked so good!
Ack! My heart! 18 months of LOVE! Happy half birthday Doodle!
Molly had my phone, poor sleepy boy by the time we got home :)
Every once in a while I catch her admiring him like I know she does. Glimpses of hope!
Another snowy night at home, not pictured is the huge box they played with and then pretended to swim on, hence the need for a bathing suit.
Sledding at grandmas! Gabe lasted all of one run 😂
Fun with Sam!!
Happy 95th Birthday Grandma! We celebrated with lunch on her big day and a party on the weekend. So good to be with family; grandma was over the moon!
Uncle Nate and Aunt Andrea came too, so good to spend time with them. She's showing Molly pictures of the girls at a birthday party; now a Frozen cake is all that she wants come March 😜
Not to be missed, happy birthday dad!!
Fun with friends! Happy birthday to January and February girls!
And to continue the birthday festivities, we celebrated our friends with a McDonald's playdate!
Finishing out the month with a photo of our little girl looking not so little anymore. It's hard to imagine she'll be four so soon!
February has been fun already, looking forward to all it holds!
