Happy Easter! He is Risen!

It was a beautiful day to celebrate our Savior's resurrection and triumphant victory over death and sin; Hallelujah what a Savior!

We started with a Sunrise service, I love going in the darkness and having the church gradually fill with light during the service, so fun and meaningful. Church breakfast followed and then another lovely service of celebration and joy. I love the word pictures in one of the songs we sang Sunday:

In the afternoon we had some down time and then we enjoyed brunch with Peter's side of the family, his Aunt snapped this photo for us, turned out great!

I touched a bird and I liked it!

Well kinda. I mean it was ok.

For those of you who know me well, you can pick yourselves up off the floor; I didnt hold a bird, and they were ducklings, which dont really seem like birds to me.

The ducklings made a springtime cameo at youth group, they were a total hit! We wrestled with names and finally ended up taking a vote.
