DAY-Naaaa!

My friend Dana came to visit me over the weekend, it was SO good to see her and spend time together. 

Bowling, browsing, sleeping in, eating out, chatting, seeing the lake and most importantly: convincing her to come back this summer!

Brrrr it's FREEZING in here!

This is what you say when you have a winter birthday, live in a northern state, and drive 'up north' to celebrate your birthday with family.  Boyne was freezing that weekend!  But we had a great time celebrating, playing games, eating at Marv's restaurant, and picking out cards.

New Life on Kelsey

No, Regina hasnt met any tomcats!  no worries on that one!  I started a new project!  I'm forcing tulip bulbs in glass vases.  Here's what they look like now -

I'm hoping they'll turn into beautiful tulips in about a month!

I Dont Know, You Tell Me

A lot of people have asked if I had a good birthday, so I'll let you decide for yourself.

I took a half day of work, ran a few errands, had a late lunch with my girlfriends, and got manicures and pedicures!

Came home to a back porch full if balloons, sweet notes, a cookie cake, a rose, and a cactus.

I received a slew of cards, gifts, had cake at Bible study, and returned home to a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my parents!!!!  Plus, this morning I realized that I got a little shout out on another blog...So sweet!

Miss Leah is on the Bowling Team.  And I have a secret closet love for bowling, and a not so secret love for Leah, so I went to watch!  Brit and Susan(ne) were there too!  fun!
