Winter birthdays are so nice

The box said 2 weeks to bloom, let's make that more like 10! 

But at least it bloomed and didn't just die. 

And isnt it lovely?  

Missed Christmas, but it's just in time for Valentine's Day!

Saturday morning hockey

I cant think of a more fitting thing to do on a February morning with a foot of overnight snow than watching some pee wee hockey!  It was definitely bringing me back to the days of running around the rink with Kari while her brother played.

Mr. Will is playing in the GR Youth League, and doing so well!

Do I look more cultured?

I only ask, because I went to two plays in one weekend!

The first was Friday night after a lovely dinner, Mr. Sweet Senor took me to see Les Mis in theater!  I hadnt ever seen, read, listened, etc. and it was really good.  Now we want to watch the movie so we can catch a few more of the words!

 The next night, we took the Hoogenhopper Mice to see Hamie the Homie in the Wizard of Oz.  Our friend Katie played Dorothy, Hamie was Ms. Gulch, as well as a few other cameos!  Both did a wonderful job, the whole thing was very well done!

So, next time you see me if there's something different, it's just probably that I'm more cultured!

A Quickie

Dad and I needed to do a little car swapping up in Boyne, so we drove up on a snowy Wednesday afternoon.  We were able to see the little man and have dinner with his parents too.

Good news: he still does the sweet little tuck and snuggle! Gah! Be still my heart! :)
