Weekend Warriors

Thanksgiving weekend has got to be my new favorite weekend. Four whole days to spend together! We made the most of things, going here and there and enjoying our days.

Friday at the Gardens. The trees are up!

We went to a tree farm, where, most people were cutting down trees, loading them on their SUVs, and sipping hot chocolate. When we approached, we saw the 'cheap trees' sign and spotted our little beauty within 30 seconds. Donzo! :)

Bowling with friends. I had a true mom moment when I bowled a strike and turned around to see that not a one witnessed it; they were all searching for a lotion bottle cap :) #classic

Fine China

It's always wonderful when we can rejoice with the rejoicing.

I had the privileged of hosting a bridal shower for one of my oldest friends; we're talking church nursery rugrats, camp buddies, youth group friends, choir angels :) the list goes on.

If there's anyone I know who embodies fine China, lace, and table clothes, it's Anna. So, we did nothing less! Plus French macarons, Italian biscotti, European wafers, and other beautiful cookies.

Michele gave a wonderful devotional about the gift of marriage and God's good purpose for it; even in a time when marriage has been poked and prodded, God created and ordained it, and he will be faithful to sustain it. A+ Michele! and Yay Marriage!
