So my friends and family can be up on life here in GR

Shwimming!

Miss M took swim lessons with her friend Arie this spring.
Aka: Kari and I got in the pool every Thursday morning with crying/freezing babies hugging our necks.

She did learn how to kick, go under, and have a general familiarity with the water so all was not lost :)

Marching on

The highlight of Memorial Day weekend was walking with our church in a parade
We decked out the stroller and off we went, VBS flyers in hand!

Miss M is also SO proud of her brave Daddy and thankful for his service :)

A little trip

Miss M and I tagged along with Peter for a little weekend getaway
It was SO nice.

There was a toy store in the hotel - oh boy! such fun!!!!

Chillin' after swimming

Dinner at a dive in Northport was anything but a disappointment! YUM!

We stopped at Moomer's and enjoyed a piece of my childhood

Breakfast of champions in the hotel

Playing at Cherry Republic - too fun!

Melissa and Doug toys galore! It was a dream come true of cuteness!

Yay! for getting away! Where shall we go next?!

Mom's Day

I could wax eloquently, or at least wax, but no ones reads this blog for that kind of stuff.
Mother's Day was a lovely day and I'm so thankful to be our little lady's mama. I'm also beyond thankful for my own mother. Full of wisdom and wit, thoughtful in her concern for others; a wonderful example to me and many others.

Wax off.
:)
