Some years, for me, February can ironically be THE LONGEST month of the year! All the excitement at the beginning followed by horrendous weather and the mid winter blahs. This year I learned a valuable lesson - plan a trip for the end of the month! YAY!
Big boy in the cart! It's ok Gabe! It's ok!
What's not to love about a matchy matchy baby?!
Happy Birthday to me! This was one to remember, see: ice storm!
A cake special ordered just for me, yum!
And then Grandma and Grandpa's power was out, so they were over. a lot.... :)
Expensive taste (literally) baby!
Mussing, mussing, mussing.
This basically sums up Gabe. Fuss bucket or smiley ham!
Birthday cookies fit for a queen! We have so enjoyed getting to know Clara as we serve our chapel kiddos. The next week these were referred to as 'Real' cookies, as opposed to boxed cookies, by the harshest critic, a kindergartner. I'll take it!
We (I) love Valentine's Day and I think the sentiment is being cultivated and growing nicely here on Kelsey St. Yay!!!! It helps that she gets to eat a sucker at breakfast...
She got Valentine bandaids and proceeded to open each one and stick it to the box; this took just about all the restraint I had to not interfere, BUT it's her gift and she enjoyed it immensely!
My Valentine's :)
Yesterdog!!!!!
Winter fun...again!
Snowday! I mean, who really needs to go to school this winter?!
Show me a cuter snow print!
Walking her dog of course!
Our seven month old smiler! he's simply the best!
Little Mommy, showing dad the ropes!!
Hobby Lobby run. I think this is the dream of all men in HL!! That is to sleep, not pretend to safari!
Brother and sister doodle bugs!
Handler time out. Remember my joy giving Christmas tree from last month? Well, she did have to go and thanks to the storms, operation 'Get-the-city-to-pick-it-up' was a total SUCCESS!! ha!
Next stop, Floridaaaaaaaaa!!! We had a wonderful trip taking a break from being cooped up and cold. It was quiet, Gabe slept like he never has before and we met some new friends along the way!
We're not in Kansas anymore!!!
Our float game was strong!
Style too!
Lunch al fresco
Not pictured is Lucy the doll who belongs to that pink car seat. She went everywhere with us and needed a lot of caring for!
Happy plaaaaaaaaaace!
Nap time view...I'll take it! Actually, one of our favorite things was being able to see Gabe sleep, it just doesnt happen much at home, so it was a special treat :)
The views, with an obligatory relaxing with my feet up photo :)
Cheeeeeeeeese!
Lunch buddies!
Fishin' time
I even reeled one in!
Sweet Dude!
In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus!!!!
Spending time togezza :)
Shopping at the World Wide Sportsman
Photo 2 cracks me up, we were checking out a replica of Earnest Hemingway's boat when a young-love couple came in and started smooching...all eyes were LOCKED on them! hahahaha!
Sunday night pizza and ice cream. Some things dont change with geography...
Family!
And then it was time to go home.
What a fantastic month plus a little more!
Cant wait to March on and see what it holds!
Spoiler alert: a three year old!!!
