Well here we are on April who even knows and I'm just getting around to posting! It's been quite a month! I hope you're all well and feeling fine. I'm happy to report we are all back up to snuff, we had some sort of nasty something or other before being sick was a thing, then the whole THING and so now we're looking forward to what's in store these coming months
- it's sure to be good.
But without further adieu, March was quite a month for us!
Sunday
Funday!
Their
besties were home from college! Gabe and Eliza have an uncanny knack for
matching at church and I have no idea what's happening there with Molly 😂
Our Sunday night routine,
dinner and a
movie in the living room :)
As I said, her bestie was home from college so off she went to CFA for breakfast Monday morning!
And then to the Gardens bc it's
butterfly season!
Sometimes they play SO
sweet!
Oh what joy! a
photo op at swim lessons!
It's beginning to look like
spring! Outside!
Every last one of you! (including the
cat)
A really good
weekend - Hippos, Huff Park, Naps and friends
I caught a thief
green handed!
Another morning at the
Gardens with our friends!
Checking on our gardens. Those little
bulbs we tucked under the dirt are popping out to say Hello!
Spending every
spare moment in her day coloring in a new magic ink book!
And then she was
four! And we partied!!!
Partied with Rynie and Sam at
Blandford Nature
Partied with the Taylors at Chik-Fil-A which included a
FROZEN CAKE!!!!!!!
Partied at home :)
Partied with our other March
birthday friends
Partied with Grammy and Grandpy Wise and then our friends came for
cake!
And speaking of cake! It was a three tiered
funfetti TRIUMPH! Honestly, it was so good :)
Playing with all her
fabulous gifts!!!
And then it all hit the fan so to speak so we just continued on with our life except no outings.
True confessions: what I was doing during
online Bible study!
Madge's MeToo movement. Packing!
Two days before we were to head out, we cancelled our flights and decided to drive, it was a long haul but worth the trip! It actually made things easier that we couldnt linger in restaurants or stops. Just in and out and DON'T TOUCH! Oh and there was no one on the roads...
We got there just in time for a swim and dinner! Yum!
Breakfast on the patio!
Evening fishing if I can just get him to stop
drinking the fountain!
Why yes, the call button in the elevator does work... 😲
The lay of our land, my
kingdom of isolation!
Shark! Swimming among the docks. People wonder why I dont swim in the ocean when we go...🙅
Morning swim time
Alllllll the
babies tucked in
Vacation is for
ice cream!
Fishing on the pier -
sorry fish!
Handler time out!
Key Lime Pie!
Digging in the landscaping! He would have stayed here all day!
Pool babies. So much pool time!
Mama and babe.
Evening walks to the
fountain!
Pushing the
buttons for the gate was a thrill every time!
Illegal play in the
closed park!
Pool
transit
Sporting their Keys
shirts from Grandma :)
Beach babies too
Oh and we went too!!!! 😜
If there's a cupboard to go through, he's your man :)
Afternoon
swimming was a daily highlight!
We watched this
bug on the wall for 3 days, he finally got away, to where? We'll never know 🐛
Fishing by the docks, everybody catches one! 🐟🐠🐡
But like all good times, they must come to an end. :(
But not without visiting our
friends!!!!!!! A welcome respite from a long day on the road!
It's been a quick start to April in these slow days!
