Night with the Rockstars

Last week already (I'm SO behind!) Dana, Linds, Kari and I went out for dinner and a movie - really fun and really cheesy romantic movie!  And it was half off appetizers which we didnt realize until we got the bill - then we knew why the waitress seemed cheesed when we all got water and most of us got appetizers...oops!  :) 

This week the whole family was in town - more pictures to follow!

This past weekend was a sister weekend at the Lake - it was BEAUTIFUL!

New Chapter

It's a new chapter of life: my high school friends are having babies!  7 years later and look where we are!  Congratulations to Megan and Chris TerVeen and welcome baby Aiden! :)

Night Riders

The other night Linds, Kari and I went on what I thought was going to be a 'shorter/lighter' bike hike. Well it was 2.5 hours. Ooops! Mucho fun though!

The people at Jimmy John's had no idea how spot on they were when our order came out with 'His Hers and #3' written on Marv, Linds, and my sub respectively! I spent the whole weekend hanging out with them - so it was great of course! :) I dont have too much photo documentation (so did it really happen?!) but here's a few -

What's better than a bomb pop on the 4th of July?

It was a good weekend full of doing all sorts of unnoteworthy activities - perfecto! Some highlights were biking to Holland, being on the beach, shopping, picnics, and not being at work in general! :)

Have you Forgotten?

On our way out East last weekend we stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial. It was really pretty cool to see, but, like I said before, very sobering. There's a temporary memorial currently, but after this weekend it will be closed and construction will begin on the permanent one; it will open for the 10th anniversary next fall. In the meantime a different viewing area will be open.

Off in the distance in front of the tree line is where the plane went down. It's technically a grave because they filled in the hole after removing whatever they could - which wasnt much.
