So my friends and family can be up on life here in GR

Oh the Humanity!

The other day some of my office friends and I had the privilege to spend the day working with Habitat for Humanity.  I had never worked with H4H before and was quite impressed.

Our job for the day was the paint the interior. All three floors. Soooo off to work we went!

Style; everything these ladies do is done in style :)

The whole teamo supremo.

Employees from GFS have completed all but three days of work on this house. The family is looking to move in this fall, what a great day that will be!

Simple Saturday

Saturday was the first in a while that we had no real plans and no agenda.

Stop #1 Anna's House. The Original. So good. Like always.

Stop #2 Grand Haven. Walked the pier, got a Pronto Pup or 4, reminisced about getting engaged :) poked through the shops, and ran into friends.

Stop #3 The Cottage. Walked the street, took a nap, thought about biking...

Stop #4 Ottawa Beach Inn Pizza. Yum, go there. Soon.

Stop #5 Ice cream in Allendale. Yum. Good finish to a lazy Saturday.

A day in the life of a bundt

In honor of my 1/2 birthday, my full service husband took it upon himself to make me a bundt cake. I enjoyed observing him work and answering the questions he had. :)

The cake was excellent; flavor and display.

It was enjoyed by all, primarily these two yahoos. Rave reviews.

See you in February!

Marketplace 2015

This year's VBS program was our own homegrown Marketplace. I was only there for a bit each morning, but it was so fun to see the kids having fun, interacting, and learning.

Bakery - they made things differently back in the ancient world!

Lessons from Peter the fisherman

Netmaking

Weaponry

The Hava Dance

Game time with preschoolers!

 Game time with elementary kids

There's more than one way to pop a balloon!

What a lot of work, but what a lot of fun and learning about who Jesus was and is!

Beautiful Day, Beautiful People

Saturday was ladies lake day at the cottage - too fun!

We have such wonderful women at church, all ages and all backgrounds and it's always a joy to spend time with them laughing and chatting and enjoying a beautiful day.

Pretty flowers were set about

Boatloads of blueberry muffins were made

And they looked good doing it!

Last minute touches

A moment of instruction

Enjoyment!

Good Dutch women - not a drop of cream or sugar in any of their 4 cups of coffee! :)

After breakfast chatter and laughter

Only one boy allowed. Cute goes a long way :)

Great day at the lake, come again sooooooooon!

Friends on Friday

Another summer bucket list item got checked off Friday when we took pity on our cableless friends and invited them over to watch the Tigers :)

I tease! But they did bring their twin babies and we all enjoyed delicious Vitale's pizza as we watched the said Tigers get trounced. Again.

Uncle Petey just luvs him some baby time!

Thanks for coming! Madgie is already asking for a repeat visit.
