So my friends and family can be up on life here in GR

A busy beginning

Many photos to follow, but from the whispers I've heard, not too many will mind. :)

Molly's arrival was not without drama. We were so happy to hold her in our arms at the end of the day!

Her first visitors were her grandparents and uncle. I heard their voices before I even got off the elevator! :)

This was how we spent our first night, just staring at each other through her clear bassinet. Peter Daddy stayed with us and couldnt help but keep peeking at her too.

Our first morning. Just like her mom, slow to wake.

Her first full day of life brought lots of cousins and aunt and uncles for visits. Thank you to everyone who did visit, what a gift!

I'm a girl! It took me several days to really come to grips with that thought! A Girl!

Wednesday we got to go home! Yay! Bring out the milkshake pink hat and booties :)

Home. Welcome to where we live. Notice who was pretty curious about our addition...

Ahhh. Bed sleep in my own bed :)

And our journey begins!

The difference of a day

Saturday March 12 was my due date, we went out for a leisurely breakfast, grocery shopped, and made a delicious dinner.

Sunday March 13, our lives changed forever. Our hearts too.

The last of the normal

It's a very strange feeling knowing that you're whole world is about to change but not really knowing when or how. So, we've just continued on doing regular things like:

Spending the day with my college roommate. Children's Museum and lunch - my how times have changed, yet friendship remains!

Going to the movies. I loved it, he endured it ;)

Napping with the kitty, who I think is more aware of things than she lets on; they've got a sense you know.

We were driving into downtown last weekend to see a show with friends and Peter mentioned that the route we were taking might be a good one for getting to the hospital
(Wide Eyed Emoji)
What an absolutely strange thought to both of us!

Growing like gangbusters

Another few weeks have gone by and so I have a few more photos
Bebe is getting there :)

No Leap Day Bebe for us.
Command day, March 4th, would be another good option. :)

Practice makes perfect

We had a few little test subjects in town over the weekend, so we tried out our skills. They made it home alive...but getting a onesie off a flopper is a bit of a trick :)

Fun with Grandpa at the Meijer Gardens.

Dressed for Sunday!

When they left, Linds said, 'See you when you're a mom!'
Holy Moly.

Spoiled Bebe

Our Bebe is already a very loved little one. So much generosity and kindness has been shown to Bebe and to us and we're so thankful.

On Friday, my coworkers threw me an afternoon shower, so many generous gifts including a baby carrier! Peter's excited to use it! 'Carry the baby like a rucksack!"

Beautiful and delicious cake

On Saturday, Peter's family threw us a shower too. The food was wonderful and the decorations were so darling and generous in their own right!

Diaper cake with 300 diapers! and so many gifts too!

Theo is testing out one of Bebe's new gifts :)

That's a wrap on showers before my due date, now we're just eagerly anticipating our little one's arrival!
What will Bebe be?!

My Funny Valentine

Just ask, he's hilarious! A card really :)
Valentine's comes as the last hurrah of celebrations around our house. We celebrate Christmas, our anniversary, my birthday, and Valentines with quite a number of other family birthdays sprinkled in there too. It's almost like sweet relief to make it to the 14th and we usually keep things pretty simple.

A birdhouse bursting with love notes and beautiful decor.

Jet's Pizza got us this year, they really did!

True love doesnt need to be dolled up, right?
