So my friends and family can be up on life here in GR

Getting the idea

It's amazing how much Ms. M is learning and changing everyday.
When we celebrated Mom's birthday, she was taking it all in; almost like she was connecting the dots from her own party to this party. Cake, gifts, singing, excitement, etc.

Clapping :) yay!

And many morrrrrrrrrre!

Friends, friends, friends

Ms. M has so many friends, and we love each of them :)

Quick trip to Traverse City to see Melissa and meet Baby Eliza as opposed to Babysitter Eliza

The nursery is currently jam packed with friends, never a dull Sunday!

Who shall we play with next?!

Cousin's Here!

Cousin Mos came to town! Yippeee!!!!! And that was just Peter's reaction :)

Play time at Grandma's and running errands together. Mawwwwwleeeeeeeee!

Spring has Sprung at the gardens!

And now: the selfie stick's maiden voyage!

Butterflies were everywhere! Get them!

Tuesday nights are for the fire pit

Two peas in a pod :)

And now for the icing on the Cream Puff: the literal chocolate icing on the cream puff :)

So much fun in just a few days!

1, 2, & 3 of The BE

While a lot of my peers are joining gyms, drinking protein shakes and honing their beach bodies
(all noble things I should probably consider as the next project)
I made a list of 15 bakeries that Heather and I plan to visit
Mmmmmm bakeries :)

First: The Donut Conspiracy on St. Patrick's Day
Consumed: A Lucky Charms topped cake donut with green frosting

Second: The Cakabakery (no sign photo bc it was being installed!)
Consumed: Chocolate Chunk cookie I had been thinking about for about 6 weeks

Third: Van's Pastry (the most Classic of all classics, Hymn Sing on Monday mornings! 9 am!)
Consumed: M&M Cookie and Chocolate Cream Puff at home in the evening

Baby M LOVES this project, probably more than she'd like sit ups, so, it's for the baby :)

Baby's First Birthday

I can't believe it. How has a year already zipped right by?!
Everyone says 2 things:
1. It goes so fast
2. They change so much
And to everyone I say:
Correct.

So we celebrated and remembered and gave thanks for a wonderful first year!
One is FUN!

A few of the details that I worked on for longer than I probably should have!

Playing with dad before everyone arrived

So many party guests!

Mmmmm Cake!!!!!

Opening gifts, or really watching Moses open her gifts :)

Favorite toy: Cat toy (kitty crying eye emoji)

For her actual day, Peter spent the day with us and we went to the Public Museum. She loved looking at all the animal exhibits, riding the carousel, and riding Sandy for the first time!

First time on Sandy!

Monkeying around the house, pulling things out of Peter's drawers

Right at 5pm it just so happened that we were all playing together, so sweet.

And, as if planned, she finally popped her first tooth on her birthday!
