Why not tear apart your upstairs just before Christmas?! and have the project linger into the new year... I suppose there's never a good time and now's better than March or April!
Our dining room became the holding zone for all the junk we had squirreled away upstairs. We were shocked and sort of ashamed by the amount of junk...HS letter jacket anyone?! This photo really doesnt do justice to how much stuff was in there. Perhaps my closet full was already in the basement?
This was after Day 1 of work. All floor surfaces you see, aside from the green room, were carpeted. Yes, even the bathroom.
Midway through the painting. fresh!
Then we got our stairs redone bc they looked like exhibit A. No more squeaks is a bonus!
Madgie loooooooves to help with all the projects, or get in the way, idk ask the painters!
After a several week hiatus, the floors upstairs were repaired, sanded,
and refinished! Ooo lala Bebe is going to love their new room! :)
The bathroom got tiled too, it looks great!
And that's a wrap! Whew! Just in the nick of time, now we can get on to setting up Bebe's room :)
It looks beautiful. I love home projects. That bathroom floor must be a family thing!
