It's been a busy few weeks and in the middle of it all just so happened to be my birthday! 

And the Olympics!

Cue celebrations!

The Birthdays in Boyne tradition continued!

The Sochi Olympic Opening Ceremonies were on the day, so we celebrated with an Olympic themed birthday cake!

Even Little Ms. Puff got in on celebrating with me at mom's.  Technically a joint celebration :)

It was a lovely year of celebrating; many cards, lunches out, and time with family were special!

Whew!  Where have I been?

Did someone say 3D movie? We're there!  Cheap seats, popcorn, and three girls...Mr P was in his glory!

Cinnamon rolls and a napping Moses made for a lovely visit to Boyne.  Awake Moses was great too!

So there's the high level run down on being here, there, and everywhere.

Christmas is Coming!

Mr. Sweet and I decided that we are no longer Fresh Tree Rookies.  

We now know things like: get the tag from your tree, pay for it, THEN pull your car around to get the tree; otherwise you're just in the way as the old tree man pointed out to us.  

Also, you may need a hatchet on hand to fit the tree into the stand.  

We know now without a shadow of doubt, you MUST use the ring on the tree stand and that above all else, you must whack the prongs in the bottom of the pan into the bottom of the stump, or the tree will just flop around like a wet noodle, trust me.

Yes, got it.  We're good now.

 And I'm excited that these guys are already finished and waiting to be opened!

Christmas is coming, and the cat is getting fat!!!  It's been a while since we've had a Puffster update.  She's alive and kickin' and loving the holidays!

And here is my house, where a mantle is looking good and a fake tree is on a timer (best investment this season!)

I know the fans have been longing

She laid there for over an hour, even fending off, (with looks of death), those seeking to use the fuzzy blanket.

Such a baby!  

And an embarrassment to cats everywhere!

I've had an uprising of requests for more Puff appearances on the blog...I try to keep them to a minimum, but I also like to keep the fans happy!  So here are the phases of exhaustion as demonstrated by the Puffster!

Mom’s Birthday – 47 again!

The April Fool baby had another birthday on Thursday and we celebrated for three days! Here are the views -

Wednesday dad and I took her to Big Bob’s for dinner and had birthday cake at home, Chantilly - yum!  Puff came and even wore her best pink dress!  :)

Thursday (the big day) we had choir rehearsal but we did manage to open gifts.  Flowers, a bird house and a jewelry rack!

For all you Puff fans out there - and I know there's many! Hey, it's almost Halloween and besides it's hilarious when she just keels over with clothes on! :) She hates it, we love it!
