Happy National Cat Day

I hope you had a purrfect day, we sure did!

Aside from getting many texts, memes, and funny cat videos we also celebrated at home with our girls: we had dinner out and the kittens got an extra scoop of food :)

We also carved kitty pumpkins!

She had to know it was her day, she allowed snuggling...it kind of looks like cat dad Peter is strangling baby kitty, but in reality he's scratching her chin and she's dying a thousand love deaths.

Yep, we're crazy cat people :)

Our furry babies have BOTH been a bit on the naughty side lately.

Regina is definitely sneaking food from the pantry while the little one is just outside of the photo frame urging her on...

AND she's taken to reading my recipe magazine while I'm away!

I was kinda funny how her mood changed as the week went on. where's dad?

Kim, Kari and Arie came over and we had dinner and a fire in the firepit with the first s'mores of the season!

Saturday morning I hosted a neighborhood brunch. Five ladies came and it was SO fun to gather. So much to talk about! I didnt know what to expect, but there were neighbors standing on my driveway chatting 3 hours after things began!

And then when the cat dad came home, everyone rejoiced!

Peter and I got the thrill of all thrills this weekend when another kitty came to live with us! Joy!

Marv and Linds needed somewhere for their traveling flea circus to land on all four feet for a little while, and Kelsey St. had her arms wide open. 

So far there's been growling, hissing, and batting. A little bit of purring, snuggles, and sniffing too.

Fran's sleeping location for day 1 and Regina's, she's decided to be very protective.

Christmas Family Style

It's been a little busy, and Christmas got strung out into the new year, and then well, I got married, so I'm just getting back to finishing Christmas because it was so deserving!

Meet Regina

Sounds like a country song or an American Girl book, but really it's just my new cat friend!  She came home last Thursday and is adjusting nicely.  Although she would like a little more furniture...
