Minute to Win It

Our flock group got together Saturday night for a rousing rendition of Minute to Win It!  We had food (desserts really reigned supreme this time) and then it was game time!

Nose Dive - use your petroleum jelly nose to get 5 cotton balls from one bowl to another

Magic Unicorn - Stack 7 junk foods on your forehead

Face the Cookie - get an oreo in your mouth by wiggling your face

Holy Rollers - roll marbles and stick them on double sided tape

Knock 'Em Dead - Knock over bottles with a potato in a panty hose

Orange Bowl - roll an orange into a hula hoop by knocking it with a potato in a panty hose

Sticky Bread - Bounce a ping pong ball so it sticks to a piece of bread with Peanut Butter

Stack 'Em - Stack 8 nuts on top of each other

Double Bubble - Blow a bubble then blow it through a hula hoop 10 feet away

Stick the Landing - toss a half full bottle onto a table and have it land upright

Friday Fish Fry

Friday was mom's birthday, and her greatest desire has been and was to go to a Friday night Fish Fry! So off we went to St. Alphonsus!

One Wasnt Enough

I saw a sign on the way home from work and couldnt resist, so I stopped!  Poor little things!  

 So now Puff has a sister!!!!  :)  Powder is what I'm calling her for now, any thoughts?! 

She's already made herself comfy, hopefully Puff, (and the rents), will adjust soon! :)

Hope Springs Eternal Today

It's Opening Day! And even though my beloved Tigers lost (boo! I hate the Yankees) it's still a wonderful day and right up there with the first robin sighting and the Whippy Dip opening! :)

Boyne for the weekend

I was in Boyne over the weekend - it was absolutely beautiful! It was bright and clear like this the whole weekend -

I had a great time doing a lot of sleeping, game playing, and chick flick watching! It felt like a real vacation! :)  Also - I highly suggest getting AAA, I locked my keys in the car, what a hassle!

And the best part of my weekend?  Being exposed to Antoine Dodson!  I cant believe how 6 months behind I am but check it out!

Six Rocks for sure!  I made these for a friend at work, her son Cade is turning 6 today.  Although, I think the cookies might be more for Amy than Cade! :)  They were a little bit of an experiment since I didnt have a cutter, but here they are -

Mail from the Capitol

Today I got a letter and it was great!  It was like a 3 leaf clover in a way because it had three parts to it.  My niece sent me a school paper she did that detailed St Patrick and why we celebrate him - thanks Grace!  And Andrea, my SIL, put a news article and a coupon to one of my favorite eateries!  Yumo!
