One Wasnt Enough

I saw a sign on the way home from work and couldnt resist, so I stopped!  Poor little things!  

 So now Puff has a sister!!!!  :)  Powder is what I'm calling her for now, any thoughts?! 

She's already made herself comfy, hopefully Puff, (and the rents), will adjust soon! :)

APRIL FOOLS!

Hope Springs Eternal Today

It's Opening Day! And even though my beloved Tigers lost (boo! I hate the Yankees) it's still a wonderful day and right up there with the first robin sighting and the Whippy Dip opening! :)

Boyne for the weekend

I was in Boyne over the weekend - it was absolutely beautiful! It was bright and clear like this the whole weekend -

I had a great time doing a lot of sleeping, game playing, and chick flick watching! It felt like a real vacation! :)  Also - I highly suggest getting AAA, I locked my keys in the car, what a hassle!

And the best part of my weekend?  Being exposed to Antoine Dodson!  I cant believe how 6 months behind I am but check it out!

Six Rocks for sure!  I made these for a friend at work, her son Cade is turning 6 today.  Although, I think the cookies might be more for Amy than Cade! :)  They were a little bit of an experiment since I didnt have a cutter, but here they are -

Mail from the Capitol

Today I got a letter and it was great!  It was like a 3 leaf clover in a way because it had three parts to it.  My niece sent me a school paper she did that detailed St Patrick and why we celebrate him - thanks Grace!  And Andrea, my SIL, put a news article and a coupon to one of my favorite eateries!  Yumo! 

Great Thursday and great weekend coming up - going to Boyne!

The Bean has Come!

Bean is what my friends Josh and Allyson's baby was referred to all throughout her Bun in the Oven Existence.  Liliann Marie Ruth or Lili is how we know her now!  She came on Wednesday, and the Calvin tennis girlfriends made a visit Thursday evening.  She's a doll!

I just have to shout out to the girls in the photo above, and Kari too, for being so welcoming to me, major blessing in the last 4ish years! And I'm sure the best is yet to come! :)

Small Victories Friday

Today I found out I can touch my toes without bending my knees!  I've never been able to do that!

And thanks to Amanda, one of my blog creepers, I know what celebrating St. Patty's Day is all about!  Thanks Amanda!
