I have two very dear friends who are off to the ends of the earth teaching and learning.  

I've known both my entire life, I'm sure we fought over played with toys in the church nursery!  

I have wonderful memories of both.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us in the coming months and years!

Happy Birthday Weekend!

It was a very special guy's birthday last Friday and celebrate we did!  Kicked things off by picking up his gift, (a sweet new grill!) then made a trip to the baseball diamond, spent time with the fam, and Saturday enjoyed checking off a restaurant from our 'must go' list!

Aside from the food, they had this pop machine there, and those of you who know me, well, let's just say this girl likes her some fountain pop!  But it was touch Screen with all sorts of pop plus a number of flavor add in's!  I googled it later, even had it's own Wiki page, if that's not legit, I dont know what is!!  Linds-o-rama!  You gotta come down and check this out!

Bridalpalooza!

I've been a little slow with the blogging lately, there are a number of reasons for that including a slow death of a computer, summer crazy, and Maid of Honor duties!

This picture doesnt do justice to the size of this monster CAKE that I thought about, drooled over, saved room for, and then ate.  It's size, unfortunately, was reflective of the disappointment I had in the taste...
