Over the weekend I went to Mackinaw Island with my friends and my cousin Dana - we officially are Mackinaw Queens! Enjoy the photo trip!
After driving through the pouring rain, we landed in Mackinaw City and the guy upgraded our room to a suite! it was a snowmobiler’s paradise!
In the morning we took the ferry in what the Arnold Line workers dubbed a, ‘heavy fog’ it was definitely misting, but we braved it and went over – good thing that was all the precip for the day!
Pedal – faster! the day ended up with 30 miles! 3 trips around and adventures through the hilly and horse poopy interior!
We poked through a lot of the shops – fun fun!
Saw the sites!
and of course – FUDGE! :) I highly recommend JoAnn’s the people were SO friendly!
It was a great time – I’m SO glad we went and the company couldnt have been better!
Happy Week Everyone! I’m off to the Whitecaps tomorrow night with my bogo and Marvin comes home! :)
So if you know me at all I’m HORRIBLE with songs and lyrics and knowing which songs go with which artists…really just bad with music in general; titles, artists, genres etc. I just listen!
But I recently discovered that several of the great classics belong to Journey! So now I’m a realized Journey fan! And thanks to pandora – I’m listening to Journey and other great classic rock frequently!
Also, I love the photo of the day on Bing. What a great idea, and the photos are always SO cool!
Turns out I also really like biking! I finally bought a bike this spring (a cute red one), and I am just loving going out and using it! So if you want to go with, give me a call! Or if you have some great path suggestions, leave me a note por favor! :)
Slickles, pearl studs, summers nights, windows open air off, baseball on the radio, painted nails, a good pair of pumps, Cherry Coke Zero, great shopping finds and middle of the day text pick-me-ups!
What are some of your favs?
Happy Day Friends!
It has come to my attention lately that I have a fair amount of readers who arent ‘followers’ of my blog. So I wanted to send a big hello and thank you! to all of my readers including you silent ones! I would never call it internet stalking – as the most recent disclosed silent reader did – I’m just glad to know people are reading and I’m not writing into a void!
Now here’s a little Q and A for the week:
There were a lot of questions about the ‘no sugar’ thing. A: It was mostly a no sugary treats thing, and I’m not doing it anymore. I was SO faithful for about 3 weeks, got on the scale and nothing had changed so I scraped it! But I am trying to be more conscientious about my sugar intake.
This isnt a question, but Dad was a little TOed (yet proud) about the Squirrel thing, so thank you to everyone who commented and told him he was totally cool! Cause you’re right, it is a skill! It’s unbelievable really…
Andrea asked: where the groom was in the photos? – He’s there, the one where they’re cutting the cake! And about the uploading…it’s easier, and it’s my blog and I like how the pictures are wavy in a line!
Hope everyone has a great week!
My girlfriend Laura from High school and college got married this weekend. The wedding was in South Bend and I was a bridesmaid. My BFF Kari was a bridesmaid too, and my good friend Dana was as well, so I got to hang out with her and her husband Matt! enjoy the photos -
